Slattery Grays Auctions in Sydney seeks a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive disposal of surplus equipment across transport, construction, earthmoving, agriculture, and engineering. You will identify leads, build trusted partner relationships, and manage repeat clients to hit targets.

Qualifications

• Auction experience is essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Ability to manage clients at all levels and translate needs into solutions.

Responsibilities

• Cover a large region surrounding Sydney with regular face-to-face site meetings.
• Mix of cold calls and warm leads to identify sales opportunities.
• Assess partners, perform competitive research, and develop business cases for targets.
• Be the lead point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships within the local and national team.
• Provide revenue forecasts and review sales results to ensure KPIs are met.
• Plan and execute local sales strategies, proposals, and presentations.
• Weekly travel is required to achieve goals.
