Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies Pty is seeking an Account Representative to join our VIC team. You will manage and grow an established customer base, identify new opportunities, and deliver practical product solutions with exceptional service.

You'll work with internal sales and technical teams, promote our range of industrial products, and aim to achieve sales targets while maintaining accurate CRM records. A competitive salary and a fully maintained company vehicle are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in external sales or business development in industrial products.
• Current driver’s licence required.
• Knowledge of industrial products (bearings, power transmission, fluids, mechanical components) preferred.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities to grow sales and market share.
• Proactively manage your territory through regular customer visits and sales activities.
• Promote our extensive range of industrial products and solutions.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and services.
• Prepare and follow up quotations, negotiate pricing and convert opportunities into sales.
• Work with internal sales, product specialists and suppliers to deliver customer outcomes.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity in the CRM.
• Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to branch performance.
