Job summary

Telum Group is seeking an experienced Trades Assistant to join its workshop team in Australia. The ideal candidate will have a background in industrial/factory work with experience in mechanical maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting.

Key duties include greasing machinery and hydraulics, working with boilers, assisting fitters and maintenance staff, and performing routine checks. On offer is a secure full-time role with indoor work, on-the-job training, and pathways to permanency.

Qualifications

• Driver's licence and own transport.
• Experience around industrial machinery, mechanical equipment or plant.
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
• Basic understanding of hydraulic systems and mechanical components.
• Ability to assist mechanical tradespeople with repairs, maintenance and installations.
• Comfortable performing routine equipment checks and general maintenance.
• Able to pass a pre employment medical including D&A screen.
