Job summary

Lifestyle Solutions is seeking a Casual Individual Support Worker to provide in-home and community-based support across NSW. You will assist with daily living, enable independence, and participate in community activities while adhering to individual support plans.

You must be confident providing personal care and meet regulatory requirements such as NDIS screening, first aid, CPR, and WWCC. This role involves travel and shifts including some weekends.

Qualifications

• Full NSW Driver’s Licence and Full Comprehensive Insurance required.
• NDIS Worker Screening & Orientation Module certificates.
• First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate.
• Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required.
• Qualifications in Disability or Community Services or equivalent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Offering support in the home and the community.
• Supporting our participant with mental health needs.
• Providing personal care including showering, toileting, feeding and dressing.
• Assisting with community participation and recreation programs.
• Following individual support plans.
• Completing clear and factual handover notes and incident reports.
• Using manual handling skills.

What you will be doing

Shift/s on offer - Monday 9am to 6pm & every 2nd Saturday 9am to 6pm fortnightly

• Offering support in the home and the community
• Supporting our participant with mental health needs
• Providing personal care including showering, toileting, feeding and dressing
• Assisting with community participation and recreation programs
• Following individual support plans
• Completing clear and factual handover notes and incident reports
• Using Manual handling skills
