Job summary

Lifestyle Solutions is seeking a Disability Support Worker to provide compassionate care and support at the Central Coast location. You will assist with daily living activities and community participation, while maintaining accurate documentation and reporting for the individuals you support.

This casual role offers morning shifts and sleepovers, with an emphasis on person-centered care and ensuring high-quality support for clients with complex needs.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with verbal and non verbal customers.
• Strong computer skills are essential for daily documentation, reporting, and communication.
• Qualifications in Disability or Community Services are an advantage.
• 2+ years experience with high intensity behaviours with high support needs.
• Must have NSW Drivers Licence and Full Comprehensive Insurance.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening clearance and Workers Orientation Module Certificate.
• Current First Aid HLTAID003 & CPR HLTAID009 Certificates.

Responsibilities

• Supporting daily living skills including cooking, domestic tasks and social skills.
• Providing personal care including showering, toileting, feeding and dressing.
• Mentoring customers to explore interests, hobbies and cultural activities.
• Assisting with community participation and recreation programs.
• Administering medication safely and following individual support plans.
• Completing clear and factual handover notes and incident reports.
• Offering support in the home and the community.
• Use your Complex Care experience to provide clinical plans where required.
