Job summary

RMIT University is seeking an Indigenous Prospective Student Case Manager to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students from enquiry to enrolment at the Melbourne CBD campus. The role focuses on culturally safe, personalised guidance and proactive engagement with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and understanding barriers to higher education.
• Experience providing case management or advisory support services.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to collect and analyse information, identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised, culturally safe support from enquiry to enrolment for Indigenous students.
• Engage with First Nations Ngarara Willim Centre and other stakeholders to inform recruitment activities.
• Support students through pathways to university and address barriers to access.
