Job summary

Adelaide University invites applications for a First Nations Student Support Officer within the Student Experience and Success portfolio at the Adelaide City Campus. OVERVIEW Adelaide University is seeking a First Nations Student Support Officer based within the Student Experience and Success portfolio at the Adelaide City Campus. This is a full-time, 1-year fixed term opportunity focused on providing holistic support for First Nations students through culturally safe services and meaningful engagement. The role involves working closely with students, communities, and stakeholders to help students thrive throughout their academic journey. The successful candidate will contribute to a safe and inclusive environment while supporting wellbeing, connection, and participation in university activities.
Key responsibilities
  • Provide holistic support for First Nations students
  • Deliver culturally safe services for students
  • Build strong relationships with students, communities, and stakeholders
  • Deliver tailored support services addressing personal, cultural, academic, and wellbeing needs
  • Coordinate programs and activities for students
  • Assist with referrals to internal and external services
  • Provide a safe and inclusive environment for students
  • Support First Nations students to thrive throughout their university experience
