Job summary

RMIT University is seeking an Indigenous Case Manager in Melbourne to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander prospective students from enquiry to enrolment. You will provide culturally safe guidance, manage cases, and collaborate with the Ngarara Willim Centre and stakeholders.

This fixed-term, full-time role offers a hybrid working arrangement and aims to strengthen Indigenous participation in higher education while supporting students toward successful university pathways.

Qualifications

• Experience engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and knowledge of Indigenous cultures and barriers to higher education.
• Proven case management, advisory or support service delivery with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication across diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to collect/analyze information, identify issues, and contribute to reporting.
• Good organisational skills and ability to work independently within a team.

Responsibilities

• Support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander prospective students from enquiry to enrolment.
• Provide personalised, culturally safe guidance and timely case management.
• Collaborate with First Nations Ngarara Willim Centre and internal/external stakeholders.
• Contribute to recruitment activities and reporting to achieve Indigenous participation goals.
