Job summary

The University of Queensland is seeking an Educational Content Developer (Learning Design) to shape culturally responsive content and learning experiences that support student success, employability and inclusion. You will collaborate with Indigenous communities, students and UQ stakeholders to reimagine and elevate career development programs.

This role focuses on embedding Indigenous perspectives into resources and initiatives, delivering tools that promote reconciliation and inclusive

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with three to four years’ experience in a relevant area or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education.
• Experience developing digital educational content, learning resources, programs or initiatives for diverse learners.
• Ability to embed Indigenous perspectives and culturally responsive practices in educational settings.
• Experience with educational technologies and digital learning platforms such as LMS.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, projects, and data for continuous improvement.
• Understanding of higher education and student employability initiatives is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging educational content and digital materials to support student employability and career development.
• Collaborate with academic staff, professional teams and Indigenous stakeholders to create inclusive learning experiences.
• Embed Indigenous perspectives and knowledges into career development initiatives and resources.
• Provide advice on culturally responsive approaches to learning, engagement and employability.
• Evaluate programs and resources to drive continuous improvement and improve student outcomes.
