Job summary

Australian University is seeking an experienced Learning Designer to join its digital education team on an initial 6 to 8 week temporary contract. The role is full-time (35 hours/week) with a hybrid working arrangement and can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.

You will design, develop and deliver engaging, student-centred digital learning content, applying sound pedagogical principles within established templates and publishing timelines.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Learning Designer, Instructional Designer or similar.
• Experience designing and developing online learning content within LMS (Canvas, Moodle or Blackboard).
• Solid understanding of adult learning principles and applying them in digital environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver engaging, student-centred digital learning content.
• Collaborate with academic and professional staff to design and publish content within templates and timelines.
• Manage multiple projects at pace while maintaining high design quality.
