Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Migration Agent (OMARA) or lawyer with a current practising certificate in migration law
• At least 2 years' experience providing migration advice and running migration matters
• Ability to manage a caseload of visa applications from start to finish with independence
• Strong client service mindset and excellent communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing consultations with clients, assess visa options and provide clear migration advice
• Manage a caseload of migration matters from start to finish and sign off on work within expertise
• Draft, review and lodge visa, nomination and sponsorship applications and supporting submissions
• Respond to enquiries, provide quotes and convert prospective clients into engaged clients
• Collaborate with clients, employers, the Department of Home Affairs and other parties to keep matters moving
• Keep clients informed throughout their migration journey and update them on progress
• Open, manage and close client matters with accurate recording in the firm’s systems
• Stay up-to-date with migration law changes and meet ongoing professional development obligations
• Support the firm's marketing efforts to promote migration services and attract clients
