Peak Talent Co. is representing a highly respected migration firm in Sydney, Australia, seeking a Senior Registered Migration Agent to lead an established corporate caseload and advise on employer-sponsored visa matters.

You will manage relationships with CEOs, senior leadership, and in-house counsel, work autonomously, and contribute to shaping the practice's direction while staying abreast of immigration policy changes. Remote working arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Migration Agent with OMARA.
• 5+ years’ experience practising as an RMA in corporate immigration.
• Proven ability to build and manage senior client relationships.
• Strong commercial instincts and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an established caseload of employer-sponsored visa matters from instruction to outcome.
• Build and manage senior client relationships, including CEOs and in-house counsel.
• Provide practical, advisory guidance on sponsorship obligations and visa eligibility.
• Liaise with the Department of Home Affairs and respond to information requests.
• Collaborate with RMAs to deliver seamless outcomes.

Job description

Our client is a highly respected migration firm with a strong presence in the Australian corporate immigration space, and they are seeking a Senior Registered Migration Agent to join their experienced team. Their clients range from family-owned SMEs to listed companies and multinationals, with many relationships spanning 15-20 years and counting.

This role has come about through growth, and leadership is looking for an experienced RMA to step into an established, active caseload and take genuine ownership of a book of long-standing corporate clients, including direct relationships with CEOs, senior leadership teams and in-house legal counsel. You’ll inherit warm relationships from day one, keeping your focus on advisory work and client relationships. With more growth in the business than they can currently capture, there’s real scope for a senior agent who wants genuine influence to help shape the direction of the practice.

Key responsibilities

Take ownership of an established caseload of employer-sponsored visa matters from initial instructions through to visa outcome

Build and manage senior client relationships, including direct contact with CEOs, senior leadership teams and in-house legal counsel

Provide practical, solutions-focused advice to employer clients and visa applicants on sponsorship obligations, visa conditions and eligibility requirements

Liaise with the Department of Home Affairs and respond to requests for further information or departmental correspondence

Work alongside senior RMAs to deliver seamless outcomes for clients

Keep across changes in immigration laws and policies

Contribute to the future direction and growth of the practice

About you

Current registration as a Registered Migration Agent with OMARA

5+ years’ experience practising as an RMA, with strong, current expertise in employer-sponsored and corporate visa work

Proven ability to build and manage senior client relationships

Comfortable operating autonomously with minimal oversight

Strong commercial instincts

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
