Job summary

WASA is seeking a Machine Operative in Albury to work across designated production areas. The role requires understanding of manufacturing processes, safety requirements, material identification, and quality standards.

The successful candidate will identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, and support site emergency response while operating equipment with minimal supervision. You will help achieve safety, production, and efficiency goals and assist in training less experienced operators.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Competency in assigned operational areas.
• Forklift training/certification.
• Overhead crane certification and experience.
• Hazard identification and risk assessment capability.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks independently within designated work areas.
• Identify hazards and conduct risk assessments.
• Maintain safety, environmental, and quality compliance.
• Complete production records accurately.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency.
