Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of educational policies, practices, and strategies that support students with disabilities.
• Curriculum development and adaptation for diverse student needs.
• Understanding the NCCD and learning profiles.
• Effective classroom management to ensure safety and engagement.
• Engagement with wider community and external stakeholders.
• Postgraduate qualification in inclusive education is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing, learner-centred learning environment for students with disabilities.
• Collaboratively develop and implement inclusive education programs and pedagogy.
• Develop Personalised Support Plans aligned with NCCD timelines.
• Engage with leadership, teachers and staff to contribute to school life.
• Provide supervision and pastoral care for students.
• Encourage involvement of school and students in the life of the church.
