Job summary

Notre Dame College on the Sunshine Coast (part of Brisbane Catholic Education) seeks a dedicated teacher with a strong focus on inclusive education. The role is 70% Support Teacher Inclusive Education and 30% regular teaching load, working with students across the Secondary College and across the Aura district.

The position starts January 2027, located at BELLS CREEK (S), with 30 hours/week and a salary range of AUD 86,601–124,725 plus 12.75% Super.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of policies and practices that support students with disabilities.
• Curriculum development and adaptation for diverse learners.
• Understanding of NCCD and learning-profile adjustments.
• Effective classroom management to ensure safety, focus and engagement.
• Ability to engage with families and external partners to enhance learning.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing, learner-centred environment aligned with curriculum policies.
• Collaborate to implement inclusive education practices and assess progress.
• Develop Personalised Support Plans and adjust documentation for NCCD timelines.
• Work with leadership and staff to improve student outcomes and engagement.
• Oversee supervision, pastoral care and community involvement.
• Support school events and celebrations and strengthen partnerships.
