Job summary

St Francis of Assisi Primary School is inviting applications for Part-time Classroom Support Assistants. The role involves partnering with teachers to support students, including those with diverse learning needs, ensuring an inclusive classroom, and implementing strategies to boost confidence and social-emotional development.

Salary is a 75,935 full-time equivalent plus superannuation, with up to 60 hours per fortnight. Applications from Australian citizens or permanent residents are welcome.

Qualifications

• WWCC and/or ACT WWVP clearance required.
• Certificate III in School-based Education Support or currently undertaking an ITE program.
• Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers and students to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Provide targeted assistance to individuals and small groups to enhance participation and confidence.
• Implement personalised adjustments to help students reach academic potential and engage with the school community.
