Job summary

Hennessy Catholic College is seeking a part-time Classroom Support Assistant to work with teachers to support student participation, especially for those with diverse learning needs. This role involves providing targeted support to individuals and small groups, adapting tasks, and promoting confidence and social-emotional development.

Two temporary positions are available until the end of the 2026 school year, with eligibility restricted to Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents.

Qualifications

• NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) registration.
• Certificate III in School-Based Education Support is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups to enhance participation and learning.
• Modify learning tasks and strategies to build students’ confidence, independence and social-emotional development.
• Collaborate with teachers and specialist teams to implement personalised adjustments for student needs.
