Job summary

Niddrie Primary School in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs is seeking a Leading Teacher Range 3 specializing in Disability, Inclusion and Wellbeing. The role focuses on leading inclusive education, wellbeing frameworks and driving system-wide improvements.

You will coach staff, develop high-impact teaching and wellbeing strategies, analyze data, and collaborate with teachers, LSO's and external agencies to improve outcomes for students, including those with disability.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expert knowledge of inclusive education, wellbeing frameworks, and the Disability Inclusion model.
• Ability to lead planning and implementation of high-impact teaching and wellbeing strategies.
• Skill in collecting and using wellbeing and inclusion data to inform school improvement.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills for collaboration with staff, parents and external agencies.
• Ability to model professional behaviours and contribute to professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage whole-school improvement initiatives aligned with the school plan.
• Lead curriculum planning and delivery improvements.
• Coordinate professional development and staff development plans.
• Oversee staff performance and development (review of staff).
• Deliver demonstration lessons.
• Develop and implement assessment and reporting policies.
• Oversee student welfare policies and discipline.
• Develop curriculum in a major learning area and participate in other areas.
• Contribute to school council proposals and code of conduct.
