Job summary

Smartgroup is seeking a Customer Service Consultant in Australia for a 12‑month maximum term contract. You will represent Smartgroup and deliver an exceptional customer experience in a high‑volume, performance‑driven environment.

You will handle salary packaging, data administration, and inquiries while maintaining data accuracy and privacy compliance. Training and support will be provided, with a rotating roster 8:30am–7pm.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and the ability to simplify complex information.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Experience in customer service is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Fulfilling customer requests and queries related to salary packaging and new applications.
• Maintaining accurate customer data and completing administration and reporting.
• Driving first contact resolution across phone and email channels.
• Delivering consistently high‑quality customer service.
• Working in a performance‑driven environment and achieving targets.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and the customer experience.
• Ensuring privacy, legislative and company policy compliance.
• Identifying customer needs and referring opportunities for additional products and services.
• Occasionally completing outbound calls.
• Rotating roster between 8:30am and 7pm.
