You will play a crucial part in our clients mining operations, ensuring efficient and effective dewatering processes to support our clients' mining activities.

Qualifications

• Experience with mining dewatering is essential.
• Must have prior mines experience with pumps.
• Poly welding ticket is required; chainsaw ticket is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain dewatering equipment (pumps, HDPE pipes, hoses).
• Install and maintain dewatering installations including poly pipe welding.
• Monitor water levels and flow rates to optimize performance.

Job description

A-Plus Contracting & Poly Welding Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced pumping technicians to join our team at Wambo United Joint Venture, NSW. You will play a crucial part in our clients mining operations, ensuring efficient and effective dewatering processes to support our clients' mining activities.

Working lifestyle roster DAY shift only 10.5 hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain dewatering equipment, including pumps, HDPE pipes, and hoses

Install and maintain dewatering installations, including poly pipe welding

Monitor water levels and flow rates to optimize dewatering performance

Perform routine inspections and maintenance on dewatering systems

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with dewatering equipment

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Maintain detailed records and provide reports on dewatering activities

Collaborate with the wider mining operations team to achieve project goals
