Job summary

A Plus Contracting and Poly Welding is a leading civil contractor based in Singleton NSW, servicing the coal mining, power industry, government projects and civil construction across Upper Hunter & Singleton area. We have immediate long term Permanent employment opportunities with a Monday to Friday roster for the right candidates as Poly Welding Technicians in the hunter region.

Candidates with poly welding certificates PMBWELD301E & PMBWELD302E plus driving licence will have priority.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current driver’s license, unrestricted Class C or higher.
• Have current poly welding certificate (PMBWELD301E & PMBWELD302E).
• Dogging Ticket (desirable)
• Operate Chainsaw Ticket (desirable)
• No less than 2 years of poly welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote, participate and uphold the company’s safety culture.
• Be willing to adhere to all company and our client’s policies and procedures.
• Work within a team environment or autonomously as required.
• Reside within the Upper Hunter district with a reasonable driving distance to site.
• Hold a Glencore NSW Generic Induction.

Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate that they:
