Job description

We are looking for an experienced Poly Welder/Multi Skilled Operator to join our team in Muswellbrook NSW.

Yore Contractors is a family owned Muswellbrook company established 1969 with experience in a wide array of civil construction projects Australia wide, including pipeline design and installation, water and sewage pumping stations, process infrastructure, earthworks, road works, structural concrete, and miscellaneous civil engineering works.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Poly Welder/Multi Skilled Operator to join our team at BHP Mount Arthur, Muswellbrook. This role is full time on a Monday to Friday roster. $40-45/hour pending experience.

Role requirements and Responsibilities

• High Regard to Safety
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screening
• Sound understanding of Polyethylene piping and fittings terminology
• Installation of dewatering equipment
• Butt welding of polyethylene plastic pipelines
• Electro-fusion welding of polyethylene pipeline
• Setting up and loading poly-welding machines
• Load and unload trucks with equipment and machinery
• Operate equipment and machinery as necessary
• Complete pre-start checklists on equipment and vehicles
• Other duties as directed by your Supervisor

Essential Skills and Experience

• Experience with butt weld polyethylene plastic pipelines, electro-fusion weld polyethylene pipelines
• Knowledge of pipe works and installations
• PMBWELDS01A – Butt Weld Polyethylene Plastic Pipelines
• PMBWELDS02A – Electro fusion Weld Polyethylene Pipelines
• Efficient excavator, front end loader and skid steer operation
• Sound verbal and written communication skills
