Job summary

Engineering Trades Australia is recruiting Poly Welders and Dewatering Technicians for ongoing work on Gold Mines in the Goldfields region. Immediate start available with a 2:1 FIFO roster.

Role includes HDPE welding, hydrotesting, trenching and earthworks; requires poly welding tickets and safety certifications; WA residency with working rights is needed.

Qualifications

• HDPE poly welding on mine or construction sites (essential)
• Poly welding tickets (butt/electrofusion) within last 2 years (essential)
• White Card
• Police clearance within last 12 months (or able to obtain)
• Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights (essential)
• High Risk Work & Plant licences or experience (Forklift LF, Telehandler or IT loader)
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence

Responsibilities

• Welding HDPE, stringing pipe, and loading welding machines
• Flushing and hydrotesting
• Trenching and general earthworks
• Reading and interpreting HDPE and civil construction drawings

Scope: Polypipe Project

Duties & Responsibilities

• Welding HDPE, Stringing pipe, and loading welding machines
• Flushing and hydrotesting
• Trenching and general earthworks
• Reading and interpreting HDPE and civil construction drawings

Requirements & Desired Tickets

• Valid Australian Driver's Licence
• Poly Welding tickets/certifications (Butt / Electrofusion in the last 2 years) - Essential
• White Card
• Police Clearance in last 12 months (or ability to obtain)
• Previous HDPE poly welding experience on mine or construction sites - Essential
• Experience conducting HDPE hydrotesting
• Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights - Essential
• High Risk Work & Plant: Forklift (LF) licence, Telehandler ticket, or Integrated Tool (IT) loader experience.
