Absolute Care & Health in Lynbrook is seeking a dedicated Community Disability Support Worker to provide in-home care for a client with complex needs. You will help with personal care, companionship, and safe community access to support independent living.

The role involves working with a female participant with an Acquired Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury, assessing risks, using medical equipment such as PEG pumps and suction devices, and maintaining accurate daily records.

Qualifications

• Cert 4 in Disability (DSW) required.
• Valid work rights in Australia.
• Current National Police Check.
• Employee Working with Children Check.
• NDIS Workers Clearance Check.
• Full Australian Drivers Licence.

Responsabilités

• Provide in-home disability support including personal care and companion care.
• Support client to achieve goals in their NDIS plan.
• Assist with community access and transport.
• Operate specialised medical equipment and monitor health.
• Maintain accurate daily records and report incidents or changes.
• Adapt care approaches based on participant needs.
