Job summary

SESI Care Services is seeking a Disability Support Worker to provide in-home supports, personal care, and community access services to disability and aged care clients. The role focuses on encouraging client independence and delivering personalised assistance.

Qualifications

• Experience working with disability and aged care clients is mandatory.
• Cert IV in Disability Services, Mental Health, Home & Community Care or Aged Care Services or Individual Support is mandatory.
• Current Australian drivers licence and own car with comprehensive insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home supports including cleaning and assistance with domestic activities
• Assist with meals and snack preparation
• Perform house duties including laundry and empty pet litter trays
• Travel to appointments
• Provide community access
• Provide social support
