Job summary

Seek.com.au is seeking an Import Sea Freight Co-Ordinator for our Melbourne office in Tullamarine. You will liaise with clients, carriers and overseas partners to deliver exceptional service and coordinate FAK & FCL shipments.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years import experience in freight forwarding, a can-do attitude, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Experience with Cargowise is an advantage. Competitive salary and conditions offered.

We are looking for an Import Sea Freight Co-Ordinator for our Melbourne Office located in Tullamarine.

Within the role you will be required to:

• Liaising with Clients, Carriers and our overseas partners
• Deliver Exceptional Service to our Customers
• Co-Ordinate FAK & FCL containers, Including but not limited to Co-Ordination of Dangerous Goods, Container unpacking and wharf collection
• Client Invoicing
• Ensure Compliance with Australian Customs
• Quote Rates

To be considered for the Role you must meet the following criteria:

• At least 2 Years Import experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry
• A "can do" attitude
• Ability to work in a high volume and fast paced environment is essential

Experience with Cargowise will be an advantage, however not essential
