Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking an Ocean Freight Supervisor (Import) for our Sydney Station. You will lead a team, ensuring SOP compliance and driving productivity while maintaining strong client relationships and profitable operations.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years’ experience in ocean freight supervision and familiarity with CargoWise. The role supports hybrid work after onboarding and onsite carparking is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Supervisor Ocean Freight.
• CargoWise experience (advantageous).
• Full Australian right to work.

Responsibilities

• Direct your team to complete operational activities in line with SOPs and regulatory procedures to achieve ocean freight productivity targets.
• Ensure relevant quality KPIs are met or exceeded consistently.
• Drive gross profit maximisation while improving productivity at the team level.
• Build strong relationships with existing clients, seek upsell opportunities, and maintain high customer retention; act as first contact for irregularities.
