Job summary

National 360's Brisbane North team is seeking a Core or above Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to deliver person-centred support to NDIS participants across Kallangur, clinics, and via telehealth. You will develop FBA-driven Behaviour Support Plans, train carers, collaborate with families and stakeholders, and ensure adherence to NDIS guidelines by reducing restrictive practices.

Qualifications

• An established PBS Practitioner at Core level or above with evidence of letter of suitability from the NDIS Commission.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, or Teaching).
• Full Australian working rights (or pending).
• Prior experience in community, private or acute settings.
• Have worked as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner.
• Sound NDIS clinical knowledge, with demonstrated experience in completing formal assessments and developing robust Behaviour Support Plans.
• Access to your own vehicle and a current driver’s licence.
• NDIS Workers Check and Blue Card or willingness to obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Developing strong, collaborative relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders.
• Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) to identify underlying needs.
• Designing and implementing person-centred Behaviour Support Plans that promote positive change.
• Providing education and training to carers and support teams to build capacity and confidence.
• Ensuring compliance with NDIS guidelines by reviewing and actively reducing restrictive practices.
• Collecting and analysing data regularly to monitor progress and inform ongoing support strategies.
