Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Experience monitoring assessment and using data to inform teaching and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents, colleagues and the school community.
• Professional reflection and engagement in learning to improve teaching quality.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals; deliver planned programs.
• Contribute to development and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Undertake related classroom and organisational duties as directed by the Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Support school priorities and participate in non-teaching supervisory duties.
