Job summary

Fragomen in Brisbane is launching a Graduate Intake for February 2027 to kickstart your immigration law career under supervision with an ownership of a caseload. You will draft documents, liaise with clients, and file visa applications, while collaborating with a team of experienced lawyers.

The program welcomes recent law graduates admitted or about to be admitted, with a preference for interest in Immigration or Administrative law.

Qualifications

• Recent law graduate or soon-to-be admitted to legal practice.
• Interest in Immigration or Administrative law encouraged.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage client interactions and document drafting.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Comfort with learning and using legal software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Own a caseload under supervision and manage workflows.
• Prepare and file visa applications meeting legal requirements.
• Draft legal documents and client correspondence.
• Liaise with clients and assist in client interviews.
• Conduct legal research to support cases.
• Collaborate with immigration lawyers and staff in a fast-paced environment.
