Job summary

NCS Australia is seeking a Product Manager (Identity Verification) to own and drive identity verification capabilities within our CIAM transformation. You will define policies, processes and customer journeys balancing seamless UX, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance and trust.

You will partner with Senior Product Management and CIAM leadership to manage vendor capabilities and integrations spanning document verification, biometric matching, liveness detection and data validation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Product Manager/Product Owner in Digital Identity, Identity Verification, KYC, Fraud, CIAM, or onboarding environments.
• Strong knowledge of identity proofing concepts: document verification, biometric verification, facial matching, liveness detection, data validation.
• Hands-on familiarity with modern Identity Verification providers (e.g., Daon).
• Understanding of privacy, fraud, security and regulatory considerations in identity management.
• Proven Agile delivery experience, defining requirements, guiding test and release cycles, and driving optimisation.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, aligning business, technology, risk, legal and operations.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive identity verification capabilities within CIAM transformation.
• Define policies, processes and customer journeys balancing UX, fraud prevention, compliance and trust.
• Collaborate with UX, Engineering, Architecture, Fraud, Cyber Security, Privacy, and Operations to set verification levels.
• Act as business product owner for vendor capabilities and integrations for document verification and biometric checks.
• Monitor metrics like verification success rates and fraud detection to optimise outcomes.
