Job summary

NCS Australia is seeking a Product Manager (Identity Verification) to own and drive identity verification capabilities within our CIAM transformation program. You will define policies, processes, and customer journeys that balance seamless customer experience, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, and trust.

Working closely with Senior Product Management and CIAM leadership, you will act as the business product owner for vendor capabilities and integrations spanning document verification,

Qualifications

• Experience as Product Manager/Owner in Digital Identity, Identity Verification, KYC, Fraud or CIAM.
• Strong knowledge of identity proofing concepts including document and biometric verification.
• Familiar with identity verification providers (e.g., Daon) and privacy/regulatory considerations.
• Proven Agile delivery and stakeholder engagement across large teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive identity verification capabilities within the CIAM transformation program.
• Define policies, processes and customer journeys balancing UX, fraud prevention and compliance.
• Collaborate with UX, Engineering, Fraud, Cyber Security, Privacy and Operations to set verification levels.
• Support vendor capabilities and integrations for document verification, biometric matching, liveness detection and data validation.
• Monitor metrics such as verification success rates and fraud detection; guide testing and operational readiness.

Job Description

We are looking for a Product Manager (Identity Verification) to own and drive identity verification capabilities within our Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) transformation program. In this role, you will define policies, processes, and customer journeys that strike the optimal balance between seamless customer experience, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, and trust.

Working closely with Senior Product Management and CIAM leadership, you will act as the business product owner for vendor capabilities and integrations spanning document verification, biometric facial matching, liveness detection, and data validation. You will collaborate with UX, Engineering, Architecture, Fraud, Cyber Security, Privacy, and Operations teams to establish appropriate verification levels across onboarding, account recovery, and high-risk transactions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner within Digital Identity, Identity Verification, KYC, Fraud, CIAM, or customer onboarding environments.
• Strong domain knowledge of identity proofing concepts, including document verification, biometric verification, facial matching, liveness detection, and customer data validation.
• Hands‑on familiarity or experience with modern Identity Verification providers (such as Daon or equivalent digital identity platforms).
• Solid understanding of privacy, fraud, security, and regulatory considerations associated with managing customer identity.
• Proven track record in Agile delivery, taking responsibility for defining business requirements, creating consistent customer journeys, and guiding capabilities through testing, operational readiness, and continuous optimisation.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with a demonstrated ability to align business, technology, risk, legal, and operational teams within a complex enterprise setting.
