Qualifications

• Current Registration with AHPRA.
• Leadership role experience.
• Experience in intensive or critical care education.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to developing in a management role.
• High standard of clinical and customer-focused care.
• Ability to work cohesively within a team.
• Proven time management and prioritisation skills.
• Knowledge of labour management.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Leadership/Management or working toward.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction and unit education to the ICU team.
• Coordinate delivery of nursing care that is evidence-based.
• Manage human, financial and material resources effectively.
• Ensure customer service is maintained at optimal levels.
• Undertake direct patient care as required and mentor junior staff.
