Job summary

NSW Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Unit Manager Level 1 to lead the ICU at Northern Beaches Hospital. You will provide strong clinical and operational leadership, supporting and developing the nursing team to deliver exceptional, safe and compassionate care in a modern facility.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, champion high standards of patient safety, collaborate with medical staff and drive continuous improvement in a busy intensive care environment.

Qualifications

• Current APHRA registration as RN Division 1.
• Management qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to lead a clinical team and manage change.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ICU nursing team and provide clinical and operational leadership.
• Champion patient safety, clinical excellence and patient-centred care.
• Oversee day-to-day operational management of the unit.
• Build a positive, collaborative and accountable team culture.
