Sunnybank Private Hospital, part of Healthscope, seeks a Nurse Unit Manager to lead our ICU nursing team. You will provide leadership, education, and coordinate nursing care while aligning with hospital strategy, budget and business direction. This full-time role focuses on high-quality patient care and staff development in a dynamic ICU.

Qualifications

• Current Registration with AHPRA is required.
• Previous leadership experience in ICU or critical care education.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong commitment to developing in a management role.
• Sound knowledge of labour management.
• Ability to work cohesively within a team.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Leadership and Management preferred.
• Postgraduate qualification in relevant field of specialty or working toward.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction and unit education to the ICU team.
• Coordinate delivery of evidence-based nursing care and manage resources.
• Ensure budget and business direction alignment for the unit.
• Oversee staff development and educational programs in ICU.
• Direct patient care as required and support nursing staff.
