Job summary

K&B Timber & Hardware Pty Ltd is seeking an ICT Systems Support Officer to be the first line of contact for IT service requests and incidents across K&B. You’ll respond, triage, resolve, and escalate as needed, with a mix of onsite and remote support, and occasional after-hours work.

This full-time role offers diverse responsibilities, from password resets to supporting bespoke factory machinery, with opportunities to learn industry-specific systems and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows 11, iOS and Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Retail tech support experience (POS/EFTPOS).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Organised and able to work independently.

Job description

Looking for more than a typical IT support role? As our ICT Systems Support Officer, you will be the first line of contact for IT service requests and incidents across K&B, with key responsibilities being responding, triaging, resolving, and escalating as needed.

This isn’t a role that fits neatly into level 1, level 2 etc. One day you’ll be resetting a password, the next you’ll be supporting the install of bespoke factory machinery. If you like variety, enjoy learning new systems, and want to see the impact of your work, this is the role for you.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday. Occasional after-hours and weekend support may be required from time to time.
