Job summary

Haileybury invites applications for a Junior ICT Support Technician on a casual basis to start as soon as possible. You will provide hands-on support for endpoint devices, diagnose issues, and help staff and students stay connected and productive across campuses.

The role reports to the Associate ICT Services Manager and Head of ICT Operations and requires strong troubleshooting, collaboration with vendors, and proactive user support in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary degree or equivalent experience in similar role.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve a range of hardware and end-user issues.
• Strong troubleshooting and proactive support skills.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in end-user technical support.
• Knowledge of AD and Azure cloud technologies; SCCM and Apple devices helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support, troubleshooting and resolution for endpoint devices, hardware, peripherals, audiovisual equipment and network connectivity.
• Manage user accounts, device imaging and endpoint connectivity, ensuring a reliable ICT environment.
• Triaging and resolving application issues across platforms like Synergetic, Canvas, myHaileybury and Consent2Go.
• Assist with installation, management and support of business and student applications with knowledge base and asset records.
• Deliver proactive helpdesk and classroom support to staff and students.
• Collaborate with ICT team members and external vendors to resolve issues and ensure efficient service.
• Provide audiovisual and technical support for school events as required.
