Job summary

Responsibilities

• Develop and convert sales opportunities into sales of computer hardware, software and ICT services.
• Report to management on the sales made.
• Prepare sales reports, and maintain and submit records of business expenses incurred.
• Quote and negotiate prices and credit terms, and complete contracts and recording orders.
• Assess demand for ICT products and report to management.
• Assess customers' needs and explain goods and services meeting their needs.
• Resolve client issues quickly and efficiently.
• Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with products/services.
• Compile lists of prospective client businesses from trade directories and other sources.
• Acquire and update knowledge of employer's and competitors' goods/services and market conditions.
• Arrange delivery of goods, installation of equipment and provision of services.
• Report to sales management on sales made and marketability of ICT goods/services.

ICT Sales Representative Philip Riley is looking for a ICT Sales Representative to join team. The ICT Sales Representative will be responsible for Developing and converting sales opportunities into sales of computer hardware, software and ICT services. Your main tasks will include:

• Reporting to management on the sales made
• Preparing sales reports, and maintaining and submitting records of business expenses incurred
• Quoting and negotiating prices and credit terms, and completing contracts and recording orders
• Assessing the demand for the different ICT products offered by the business and reporting to management
• Assessing customers' needs and explaining the goods and services which meet their needs
• Resolving any issues a client has as quickly and efficiently as possible
• Following up with clients to ensure they are satisfied with the products and/or services
• Compiling lists of prospective client businesses using trade directories and other sources
• Acquiring and updating knowledge of employer's and competitors' goods and services, and market conditions
• Arranging delivery of goods, installation of equipment and the provision of services
• Reporting to sales management on sales made and the marketability of ICT goods and services
