Job summary

AI Talent in Australia is seeking an ICT Quality Assurance Engineer to uphold the integrity and performance of our computer systems and environments. You will design, implement, and manage QA frameworks aligned with internal policies and external standards.

You will work with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to integrate QA across the SDLC, conduct audits, develop test plans, and provide clear, actionable reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to plan and conduct quality audits, analyse data and produce clear reports.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration, performance).
• Strong knowledge of quality management principles and frameworks (ISO 9001, ITIL).
• Experience developing QA documentation including test plans, cases, procedures, and audit reports.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and conduct quality audit inspections of ICT systems, data, docs, and processes to assess functionality and compliance.
• Analyze audit findings to identify high-risk areas and variations.
• Develop corrective action plans to address non-compliance and drive improvements.
• Establish and improve QA frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with standards.
• Evaluate system performance and provide evidence-based recommendations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations to integrate QA across the SDLC.
• Communicate QA standards and compliance obligations to users and staff.
• Design and execute structured test plans, test cases, and strategies to validate performance.
• Monitor processes to detect quality issues and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Maintain records of audit activities, test results, and corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and oversight to junior QA staff.
