Merivale is seeking an Operations Manager for The Vic on the Park in Sydney. This role guides the business, develops future leaders, and delivers a world-class guest experience across a renowned venue within Merivale's portfolio.

Based in Marrickville (The Vic), you will embed yourself in the team and community, leading operations to consistently create magical moments for every guest. You will work with passionate hospitality professionals in one of Merivale’s iconic locations.

Located in the heart of Marrickville, The Vic is a home away from home for locals and their pups alike. The iconic inner west local will put classic pub food on your plate. Save a table on the deck for beers and something sizzling from the kitchen, or catch a gig by your favourite local band. Get the group together for a little healthy competition on the half court or catch a game on the big screen.

Qualifications

In a nutshell, you will need to

• Understand how to deliver exemplary guest experience. This incredible venue will feel warm and welcoming with a casual tone of engagement. Underpinned by knowledgeable, professional execution.
• Lead & coach a diverse team of people. Ensuring that team culture is guest focused, community led, and sales driven.
• Competency to drive the financial results of the department. Be sales focused, create and lead the team to execute revenue initiatives. Demonstrate proven results in management of financial controls.
• Passion for product. Support the extraordinary team of chefs and guarantee you and your teams have a detailed knowledge of the product.
• Establish a healthy working environment for the team – enjoyable, educational, results focused and respectful.
