Job summary

Hype DC Miranda is seeking an ambitious Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations, coach a dynamic team and deliver a premium sneaker retail experience. You will shape a high-performance culture, drive sales and ensure exceptional customer service on the shop floor.

You will work closely with the Store Manager and Area Manager to implement commercial strategies, manage rosters and maintain brand standards across visual merchandising and loss prevention.

• Coach, mentor and develop your team, providing regular feedback and support to unlock their potential.
• Drive recruitment, selection and onboarding to build a strong pipeline of talent.
• Lead by example, inspiring your team to deliver excellence every day.

Drive Commercial Performance

• Take ownership of the performance of a multimillion-dollar retail business, driving sales, KPIs and overall profitability.
• Identify opportunities to maximise sales, improve performance and achieve business objectives.
• Partner with your Store Manager and Area Manager to execute commercial strategies and deliver results.
• Manage rosters and wage costs effectively while maintaining the right team coverage to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Deliver An Exceptional Customer Experience

• Put the customer at the heart of every decision, creating memorable experiences that keep customers coming back.
• Bring the Hype DC brand vision to life through authentic engagement, product knowledge and a premium in-store experience.
• Deliver a seamless omnichannel experience by ensuring online orders and in-store operations are executed efficiently.

Create a Best-in-Class Store

• Maintain outstanding visual merchandising standards that showcase our products and elevate the customer experience.
• Drive operational excellence across stock management, store presentation and loss prevention.
• Ensure the store remains a fun, inclusive and safe environment for both customers and team members.

• Proven retail leadership experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
• A genuine passion for sneakers, streetwear, fashion or lifestyle retail.
• A people-first leadership style, with the ability to motivate, inspire and develop a large team of brand ambassadors.
• A strong commercial mindset and a proven ability to drive sales, achieve KPIs and identify opportunities for growth.
• Confidence managing rosters, wage budgets and day-to-day store operations.
