Job summary

Tech Data is expanding its Unified Communications practice across ANZ with a technical presales expert who will design end-to-end UC solutions and support partner engagements. You will own the technical architecture, build reference offerings, and work closely with vendor teams to align roadmaps and certifications.

You will translate complex UC/CX technologies into practical, partner-ready guidance, while maintaining credibility with customers’ IT leadership and sales teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in technical presales, solutions engineering, or solutions architecture within UC, collaboration, or contact centre tech.
• Hands-on design and deployment experience across UCaaS, CCaaS, SBC/telephony, or CPaaS.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams integration and vendor partner ecosystems.
• Proven ability to produce partner- and customer-ready solution documents.
• Comfort pursuing vendor accreditations and keeping pace with product roadmaps.
• Strong communication, able to present to both technical and IT leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end UC solutions across voice, meetings, messaging and contact centre for partners and customers.
• Provide hands-on technical presales support: solution design, scoping, and objection handling.
• Be the primary technical contact into UC vendor partners' solutions engineering and product teams.
• Maintain vendor accreditations across UC portfolio and track roadmap changes.
• Create reference architectures, bundles and packaged solutions for partners to quote.
• Develop reusable technical IP, such as deployment guides and integration patterns.
