Job summary

SystemCanada seeks an experienced professional to lead a Solutions Architecture team in network and unified communications. The role blends hands-on architecture with team management, collaborating with Account Managers and PMOs to shape and deliver client solutions.

You will mentor the team, build senior stakeholder relationships, and drive improvements in solution development processes to align with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a Services or Solutions Management role with both technical and business experience.
• Tertiary qualifications in a technical and/or business discipline.
• Experience providing technical solution offerings within the unified communications space.
• Experience delivering complex network solutions within an enterprise environment.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing complex VoIP and Voice solutions (WAN/LAN).
• Solid understanding of Voice and UC principles (traditional and IP) and network interface principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead an experienced team of architecture professionals in the network and unified communications space.
• Split role between hands-on architecture and management.
• Develop and drive the solutions architecture vision and strategy.
• Ensure effective operation of the design authority for project delivery.
• Coach, mentor and manage all members of the Solutions Architecture Team.
• Build senior-level relationships with stakeholders and vendors to generate client solutions.
• Drive business process improvements in solution development and quality systems.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and UC/VoIP advancements.
