Job summary

Supercheap Auto in Strathpine (QLD) is seeking a Merchandise Trading Terms & Responsible Sourcing Manager to shape how we manage trading terms across the business and drive responsible sourcing initiatives. The role sits within the Merchandise Development team and offers hybrid work from our Strathpine office with three days in office and two days from home.

You will partner with Merchandise, Finance and supplier partners to improve commercial governance, deliver insights, and lead process

Qualifications

• Experience managing trading terms, rebates, supplier funding or commercial agreements.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capability.
• Experience partnering with Finance on reporting, forecasting and accruals.
• Exceptional stakeholder influencing skills.
• A process improvement mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel and reporting capability, with SAP experience highly regarded.
• Experience within a large retail, wholesale or consumer goods environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage supplier trading terms, including rebates, funding, allowances and incentives.
• Partner with Merchandise and Finance teams to maximise gross profit outcomes.
• Lead governance, compliance and risk management relating to trading terms.
• Analyse performance, vendor support claim processing & accruals and provide commercial insights.
• Build strong trade partner relationships and resolve complex issues commercially.
• Drive process, system and reporting improvements across the trading terms landscape.
• Responsible sourcing administration including Trade Partner engagement regarding responsible sourcing compliance and circularity opportunities.
