Job summary

Supercheap Auto is seeking a Merchandise Trading Terms & Responsible Sourcing Manager to join the Merchandise Development team in a newly created role. This role shapes how trading terms are managed across the business, enhances governance and drives strategic ways of working for future growth.

You will own supplier trading terms, partner with Finance, lead risk management and deliver commercial insights. The role offers hybrid work from Strathpine with a focus on responsible sourcing

Qualifications

• Experience managing trading terms, rebates, supplier funding or commercial agreements.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capability.
• Experience partnering with Finance on reporting, forecasting and accruals.
• Exceptional stakeholder influencing skills.
• A process improvement mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel and reporting capability, with SAP experience highly regarded.
• Experience within a large retail, wholesale or consumer goods environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage supplier trading terms, including rebates, funding, allowances and incentives.
• Partner with Merchandise and Finance teams to maximise gross profit outcomes.
• Lead governance, compliance and risk management relating to trading terms.
• Analyse performance, vendor support claim processing & accruals and provide commercial insights.
• Build strong trade partner relationships and resolve complex issues commercially.
• Drive process, system and reporting improvements across the trading terms landscape.
• Responsible sourcing administration including Trade Partner engagement regarding responsible sourcing compliance and circularity opportunities.
