Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Australia seeks a Systems Engineer to join the Sales Engineering team in Perth. The hybrid role requires about two days in an HPE office weekly, focusing on pre-sales for networking and security solutions across enterprise accounts.

You will partner with account teams, shape digital transformation directions, and deliver compelling technical solutions and business cases, including RFPS and PoCs, to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in pre-sales for large enterprise/government accounts.
• Amazing presentation skills to diverse audiences including executives.
• Unbreakable customer relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Experience presenting at technical road shows and Industry events.
• Technical sales leadership for major opportunities with demos/PoC.
• Strong network of strategic relationships outside own area.
• Strategic sales at account/deal level.
• Competitive knowledge of solutions and offerings.
• 10+ years of pre-sales/technical sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with account teams to deliver best solutions and foster trusted relationships.
• Advise customers on short-and long-term product directions for digital transformation.
• Deliver compelling presentations and develop technical solutions and business cases.
• Extensive experience with RFPS.
• Assess applications of company products with sales staff and prepare detailed specs.
• Work on complex issues requiring in-depth analysis.
• Champion and evangelise cutting edge, experience-first infrastructure solutions.
• Collaborate with vendor partners to drive demand generation events.
