Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise) Perth-based Sales Engineer role within the Sales Engineering team, focusing on AI-enabled, cloud-based networks, software defined networks and cybersecurity.

You will partner with account teams to develop opportunities, drive sales and build trusted technical relationships with customers and partners across Australia. The role emphasizes engaging with executive-level stakeholders and delivering compelling technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of the technical pre-sales engineering process and the sales processes applied to large enterprise and/or government accounts.
• Amazing presentation skills and the ability to discuss highly technical concepts to a variety of audiences, including executive level technical decision-makers.
• Unbreakable customer relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Experience presenting at technical road shows and Industry events.
• Technical sales leadership for major opportunities and hands‑on expertise for customer demonstrations and proof of concepts (PoC).
• A strong network of relationships outside of own area of expertise; focus on networking opportunities likely to be of considerable strategic or long‑term value.

Responsibilities

• Partner with account teams to bring the best solutions to customers and foster long-term relationships.
• Advise customers on short- and long-term product directions for digital transformation.
• Deliver presentations, develop technical solutions and business cases for HPE Networking products and solutions.
• Work with vendor partners to drive business and deliver demand generation events.
