Job summary

Beyond Sports is seeking a Support Engineer to keep our cloud-native platform stable and scalable for global sports clients. You’ll investigate production issues, write validation scripts for integrations, and perform preventative maintenance while collaborating with engineers and product teams.

You’ll be hands-on with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform, balancing speed and stability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating distributed systems at scale.
• Strong communication skills across teams and with clients.
• Good working knowledge of SQL and databases.
• Infrastructure experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, DNS, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Programming experience in an object-oriented language (preferably Java).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the reliability of our backend and third-party integrations.
• Investigate production issues, write scripts, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to resolve complex problems.
