Job summary

HireRight is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support high-volume production systems in a hybrid cloud environment. The role focuses on reliability, availability, and performance of the production platform while supporting weekly software releases and driving continuous improvements.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Linux, Kubernetes, Java platforms, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation experience.

Qualifications

3–5 years in DevOps, SRE, or production support.
Strong Linux administration in enterprise environments.
Experience with Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).
Experience with AWS and/or Azure.
Git, CI/CD, Jenkins, and Maven.
Networking knowledge (L4/L7), load balancers, ingress controllers.
Bash or Python scripting.
Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack IaC.
Java applications support (Tomcat, RabbitMQ, Oracle).
Strong communication across globally distributed teams.

Responsibilities

Support and administer production systems across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments, ensuring platform availability, performance, and reliability.
Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and deployment automation.
Administer Kubernetes environments including ingress, load balancing, and networking.
Automate infrastructure and operational processes using Bash, Python, Terraform, Ansible, and SaltStack.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and support Linux-based Java application environments (Tomcat, RabbitMQ, Oracle) and observability tools.
