Job summary

Optus is seeking a Workforce Planning Analyst to optimise labour budgets, scheduling, and workforce performance across a national retail network. You will partner with Area Managers, Store Managers, and our Centralised Scheduling team to use workforce data, forecasting, and reporting insights to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time.

• Experience in workforce planning, labour scheduling, or a similar operational planning role.
• Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills and experience translating complex data into meaningful business insights.

Responsibilities

• Analyse workforce data, forecast labour demand, and provide reporting and insights that support operational decision making and labour cost optimisation.
• Partner with Area Managers and Store Managers to optimise labour budgets, workforce performance, and scheduling outcomes across a national retail network.
• Administer and optimise the Dayforce Workforce Management system, supporting rostering, time and attendance, payroll accuracy, and workforce compliance.
• Work closely with scheduling, payroll, HR, finance, and retail stakeholders to identify workforce improvement opportunities and drive continuous operational efficiency.
